In March 2025, I led the end-to-end marketing and execution of “MegaMoods In The Sky: Lagree Meets Yoga” – MegaMode’s first exclusive community event, created to celebrate the International Day of Happiness (20th March). From concept to post-event wrap-up, I managed all aspects of the campaign, including strategy, visual identity, content creation, social media, email marketing, influencer and brand partnerships, logistics, and guest experience.
Held at The Stolen Gem Rooftop Bar with sweeping views of Melbourne’s CBD, the event seamlessly blended movement and mindfulness through a 50-minute Lagree-inspired mat Pilates and yoga session. With branded giveaways, wellness activations, and interactive community elements, the sold-out experience successfully elevated MegaMode’s brand presence and engaged both loyal members and new audiences.
About The Event
Led by a certified MegaMode instructor, the rooftop session featured 40 minutes of Lagree-inspired mat Pilates followed by 10 minutes of mindful yoga – designed to strengthen, restore, and recharge. Suitable for all fitness levels, the class left participants feeling refreshed and empowered.
After the workout, guests mingled, shared messages on the Happiness Wall, and captured memories with Polaroid photos. Each attendee received exclusive perks, including MegaMode credit, an Elite Eleven goody bag, a small Nosh bowl, Bonsoy drinks, and Fancy Plants chia pudding. One lucky guest also won a One-Week Unlimited Pass at MegaMode.
Role and Responsibilities
As the Marketing and Campaign Lead, I collaborated closely with MegaMode’s Co-owner and Director, Kylie Archer, to conceptualise, plan, and deliver a successful end-to-end campaign. My key contributions included:
- Content Pitch: Proposed the event concept to celebrate the International Day of Happiness, aiming to foster community engagement and strengthen MegaMode’s brand positioning.
- Strategic Planning: Developed and executed the complete marketing strategy – defining the campaign theme, messaging, content schedule, influencer collaborations, brand partnerships, and activations.
- Content Creation: Produced a full suite of creative assets, including Instagram Reels, Stories, email campaigns, posters, and on-site event materials (e.g. handheld Polaroid signs and the Happiness Wall).
- Partnership & Influencer Management: Oversaw communications with brand partners and fitness and lifestyle influencers, including securing Laura Angelia as our final collaborator. Developed a clear and strategic influencer brief to align deliverables with campaign objectives.
- Platform Setup & Communications: Created and configured MegaMode’s Eventbrite account, including the event registration flow, agenda, and Q&A. Managed all communications with attendees via the platform before and after the event.
- Event Execution: Coordinated the full event rollout – from staff briefing and venue liaison to guest check-ins, influencer hosting, and managing on-site experiences such as the Happiness Wall and Polaroid moments. Captured live photo and video content throughout the event for ongoing promotional use.
Outcomes
The event was a resounding success, delivering strong results across key marketing and business objectives:
- Sales: All tickets sold out within two hours of release, with a fully booked waitlist – demonstrating strong demand and the effectiveness of pre-launch marketing efforts.
- Engagement: Campaign reels reached over 15K accounts and generated 18K+ views, increasing MegaMode’s Instagram engagement rate by 10% during the campaign period and significantly boosting brand visibility.
- Audience Growth: Attracted both loyal clients and new audiences, generating high-quality leads and increasing interest in future activations. 90% of attendees expressed interest in joining similar events.
- Community & Brand Impact: Strengthened MegaMode’s position as a leading wellness brand in Melbourne through meaningful community engagement and strategic collaborations with high-profile influencers and lifestyle partners.
This campaign showcased my ability to lead a high-impact, end-to-end marketing initiative—from concept to execution—while driving influencer partnerships, crafting engaging content, and delivering measurable outcomes.
